The dedicated members of the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad, your neighbors, have been providing medical assistance to the communities of Bloomingdale, Butler, and Kinnelon for the past 82 years! This past year we have once again responded to over 1500 emergency calls.
So that we may continue to provide these services FREE of charge, we are once more asking for your generous financial support.
Your continuing generosity, along with contributions from our towns, enables us to be available 24/7 365 days a year to provide emergency medical services and medical transportation throughout our towns. At fires we ensure the medical well-being of our firefighters. We also provide coverage at parades, sporting events, town-wide celebrations, and graduations in order to help provide safety for all in our community.
The past two years have put an ongoing financial strain on our squad. Along with our day-to-day expenses of insurance, maintenance of three ambulances and a first responder vehicle, as well as state-of-the-art first aid supplies; COVID-19 has continued to add extensively to our past year's expenses.
Our 40+ volunteer members, from many walks of life, are certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), First Responders, and Drivers. Although the state of New Jersey has significantly reduced training funds, we must frequently train and update our first aid skills by enrolling in Continuing Education courses in order to maintain state certification and to provide you with the best in emergency care.
Generous contributions from our community go a long way towards bettering our communities and our Emergency Medical capabilities. As a volunteer organization, we are ever grateful for your generous support. We are also accepting donations via our website at www.triborofirstaidsquad.org. Your donation will enable us to continue to provide important emergency medical services to our communities.
Sincerely,
The Members of the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad
